Co-Founder & CEO

Upeka is the driving force behind Diana. She believes that meaningful work empowers a better life, a value she learned at Gusto, where she was the Head of Engineering for the HR platform. She is driven by a passion for creating and advocating for inclusive workspaces. As an immigrant and daughter of entrepreneurs, Upeka finds deep meaning in supporting small businesses in the US and helping founders create amazing places to work.

Fun Fact: Halloween is Upeka's favorite holiday. She goes all out with her creative costume combos.

Dilan Dane

Co-Founder

A serial entrepreneur, Dilan's journey includes founding five companies, including the first real-time search engine acquired by Google. A YCombinator alum and MIT Computer Science & Physics graduate, Dilan brings a unique blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for transformative technology to Diana.

Fun Fact: As a fitness and wellness enthusiast, Dilan is deadset on seeking the fountain of youth.

Tim Elser

Co-Founder & Full-Stack Data Scientist

Meet Tim, our full-stack data scientist who's been on quite the startup journey prior to Diana - growing a company from a cozy team of six to a thriving 700+! He loves tackling a variety of challenges, but his true passion lies at the intersection of econometrics, machine learning, and bandit systems. With a mind for innovation and a knack for problem-solving, Timothy is always pushing the envelope in the world of data.

Fun Fact: When he's not crunching numbers, Tim gets really saucy with his arbol chili salsas.

Gautam Devaraju

Lead Backend Engineer

Gautam leads Diana's backend architecture, building the scalable infrastructure that powers our AI assistant. With deep expertise in distributed systems and API design, he ensures Diana runs reliably for every customer.

Patrycja Gorska

Senior Software Engineer

Patrycja brings deep technical expertise and a meticulous eye for quality to the Diana engineering team. She is passionate about building robust, maintainable systems that scale.

Charith Dissanayaka

Senior Software Engineer

A skilled developer with over nine years of experience building cutting-edge web and mobile applications. Charith thrives on crafting solutions that exceed expectations and is known for delivering exceptional results, mentoring teams, and leading by example.

Fun Fact: Charith is his family's personal hairstylist. His only and most loyal clients are his wife and himself.

John Wang

Client Operations Manager

John is an experienced operations leader with six years of background in consulting at A&M and client-facing roles at Diana. He specializes in strengthening client partnerships, streamlining processes, and turning day-to-day challenges into practical improvements. He enjoys tackling complex problems and is known for spotting gaps early. He collaborates closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to help drive better products and smoother operations.

Akash Suluru

Chief of Staff | GTM & Growth

Akash Suluru is currently Chief of Staff at Diana, where he works across GTM, growth, and strategic execution to help scale the company’s market presence and operations. His background spans product, growth, and innovation roles at companies including FlowState AI and Gojo & Company, where he built experience in product strategy, market research, and customer-focused problem solving. He also holds a Master’s from Carnegie Mellon University, which strengthened his foundation in innovation, technology management, and business strategy.

Jeff Lee

Engineering Advisor

Jeff brings over 20 years of engineering leadership experience to Diana. His strategic insight and deep technical background help guide the team's architectural decisions and long-term technology roadmap.

Kristin Chan

Design Advisor

Kristin advises on design strategy and user experience across Diana's products. She brings a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating interfaces that feel intuitive and human.
